Listening Comprehension: Draw This: Character Edition

Listening comprehension is an extremely important muscle to flex alongside reading comprehension.

For this activity, there are teacher prompts that will give you narratives about characters to read aloud to your student/s. There are also individual response pages that correspond to each of the ten narratives. You are free to repeat the prompt however many times you feel is appropriate for your class. In addition for your convenience, there are five differentiated teacher prompts. Remind the students to listen for details and to try to make a picture of the character in their minds. Encourage them to draw with as much detail as they can remember from the prompt.
